Our 2025 Turkey Drive was a tremendous success! 🦃 💛

This year, our incredible staff and volunteers came together to distribute 200 turkeys to families at our East New York Health HUB. We’re especially grateful to Council Member Sandy Nurse and Council Member Christopher Marte for their generous contributions!

Thankful to all who helped provide a good meal to New Yorkers ahead of the holiday season. ✨

We’re proud to share a new Crain’s New York Business op-ed by ICL President & CEO Jody Rudin and Blanca Ramirez of Comunilife, Inc.: “Medical respite saves hospitals money and improves care.”

Medical respite is one of the most effective, compassionate, and cost-saving tools we have for supporting New Yorkers experiencing homelessness after a hospital stay. Jody and Blanca outline why expanding this model is crucial to improving health outcomes and bolstering our city’s hospital system.

Last week, with ICL’s Residence at 50 Nevins Street in downtown Brooklyn, we joined Homes For Veterans and Blackstone to celebrate and thank the veterans who inspire us every day. At ICL, we remain committed to ensuring that every veteran has access to the comprehensive care, connection, and opportunity they deserve.

At ICL, Aisa expands the capacity of programs to treat more individuals with serious mental health challenges, advancing scatter-site housing and other community-based solutions that promote stability through a person-centered approach. With more than 15 years of leadership in social services across NYC including housing, child welfare, and behavioral health, Aisa has built a career centered on equity, community empowerment, and care.
