Faces Maimonides Theater Group FACES is an award-winning theater group of young people addressing their generation's most critical

FACES is the only theater group sponsored by a Mental Health Center at Maimonides Medical Center. In addition to regular "FACES" shows they help to train doctors and health care professionals and assist in using the techniques of sociodrama, group work with classical acting techniques. FACES is commited to bring life saving information to audiences using the best and most real theater possible. The young people involved are intensively trained and become a part of an incredibly powerful creative team.

It is with great sadness that the Montez/Biderman family announces that Susan Montez has passed away peacefully among close family on July 9th in Parsippany, New Jersey.
Born in the New York City, Susan lived an extraordinary life filled with adventure, laughter, and love. Inspiring many throughout her lifetime, the love she had shared with the world has been reciprocated through the success of the many people she has helped over the years. Susan will forever be memorialized in our hearts and minds as an illuminated, enlightened woman who was always giving and willing to help and assist others in need. Her love for film & theatre along with her devotion to helping lead to the creation of FACES theatre group which created opportunities for the members to thrive and blossom into their own successful careers, She is a inspiration to many, a beacon of light to the people that look up to her, and it is truly a devastating loss and a shock to the system for the people close to her.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
We will be hosting Shiva from Thursday - Saturday

While October is breast cancer awareness month, Oct. 13th is Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day

Female breast cancer is now the leading cancer diagnosis for women globally, having surpassed lung cancer in 2020. As long as there are women in need of support through their fight with breast cancer, or any cancer, our Foundation will continue to fund research for a cure.
