💧Blocked Tear Ducts 💧

📣 Common in newborn babies, blocked tear ducts occur when the tears pool in the eyes because they can’t properly drain through the duct to the nose. If the tears sit long enough, the eyes can become yellow and crusty.

📣 In addition to keeping the area clean using a warm wet cotton ball, gauze, or paper towel, nasolacrimal duct massages are also a helpful treatment method. See the third slide for instructions!
