Prioritizing our health is something that we as women don’t inherently do, which is why I’ve created programs that meet every woman where they are. I help women cut through the “nutrition noise” they are constantly bombarded with, and guide them towards evidence-based, proven methods to enhance their well-being. Meet (or re-meet!) Me! Rooted Wellness Founder, Sarah Rueven, MS, RDN, CDN.💜

I founded Rooted Wellness after having my first child, when I realized firsthand that women aren’t getting the reproductive healthcare we deserve. My mission is simple but powerful…to ensure that every woman has access to personalized, evidence-based, holistic support through every stage of fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. 🤍🤰

My philosophy centers on celebrating each woman’s uniqueness and translating nutrition science into practical, realistic guidance. Because your lifestyle shouldn’t revolve around your nutrition; your nutrition should support your life.

Before founding Rooted, I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics at NYU and completed my dietetic internship at NYU Langone Medical Center, where I gained experience across a wide range of clinical conditions. I’m a long-time advocate for women’s health in both my professional and personal life, and serve on the leadership council of Planned Parenthood of Greater NYC.

I live in NYC with my husband and two young kids, running Rooted, supporting women, and building a community where wellness feels empowering, not overwhelming.

Fun fact… If I were stranded on a desert island? I’d choose my Dad’s Caesar salad, a perfectly cooked steak, and a side of French fries, please! 🥩🥗🍟
