The most important thing about TODAY, January 20, 2025, is that it’s MLK Day. 🕊️✊🏽 Let’s take a moment to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for all that he stood for.

While he is widely remembered for his dream of equality and his commitment to peaceful protest ✌🏾, it’s important to acknowledge that later in his life, his approach evolved. He recognized the need for a more radical focus on economic development 💰 and independence within the Black community. During his time, many of his views were not widely embraced, and over the years, some of his beliefs have been selectively highlighted while others, particularly his more radical perspectives, have been overlooked.

Let’s remember ALL of Dr. King's messages and the full scope of his legacy. 🖤✨
