It was great to be back in my home town, participating in ACARO’s Annual Meeting. The meeting had a terrific scientific program put together by its president and Dr. Lisandro Carbo. It was sponsored by , with 5 of us traveling to BA and 4 HSS surgeons presenting from NYC. Dr. Eduardo Salvati delivered the Presidential Guest Lecture and received a Lifetime Achievement Award.
