RP There is no real data on Black women in cannabis. And if the data doesn’t see you… the industry doesn’t have to either.

This is why we’re launching on International Women’s Day the Cannabis Equity Census, the first national effort to actually document the experiences of Black and Brown women in this industry.

We’re measuring ownership, income, access to capital, barriers, and opportunities so our presence can be seen, acknowledged, and acted on.

It’s story time! Here’s the tail of two women who met in DC, grew some plants together, and Blossomed in love.

Rachele was a former Jehovah’s Witness and Fame a former Baptist. Both have their own stories of struggling to come to terms with their q***rness and gain acceptance from their families. Both have their own story of how canna 🌿 has helped them through the mental and spiritual struggle associated with not being fully embraced— and helped them to say f**k it we’re here and we’re q***r!!!

Fast forward these proud Black & Cherokee, Mexican & Puertorican women were inspired to create a space where plant medicine was accepted and embraced— outside of the stereotypical, hip-hop oriented, homophobic, canna-scene. A space where femme energy and spirit thrives and where people could access the plant community as their whole selves.

EXHALE is that space. Come heal with us 🌺
