80 years ago today, the 18 year old on the right was celebrating victory in Europe somewhere in Germany. His older brother was celebrating at the European Allied HQ. As my dad always told me the celebration was short lived as they all expected that they would be shipping out to the Pacific to fight there. Worth remembering today and all the WWII vets.
