Repost because IG took down the audio! Lots of good info here!😎 Skincare recommendations for hyperpigmentation!✨ Niacinamide is a great ingredient but usually it’s not enough to clear the stubborn hyperpigmented patches alone. You need to combine it w/ other ingredients to reduce melanin production, protect your skin from UV rays, and increase cellular turnover. Here are my recommendations!👨🏻‍⚕️ ✅ Niacinamide. Niacinamide works by blocking the melanin (melanosome) from being transferred cell to cell. Use this daily in the morning. ✅ Tranexamic acid. TXA is one of the most underrated skincare ingredients and works by decreasing the level of plasmin, which ultimately results in decreased melanin production. Use this daily in the morning. ✅ Kojic acid + Arbutin. These ingredients decrease melanin production by blocking the enzyme Tyrosinase which is an essential enzyme for melanin production. Use these nightly! ✅ Tinted SPF. When treating hyperpigmentation sunscreen is an absolute essential. Use tinted mineral sunscreen because it protects your skin from both UV rays and visible light. ✅ Retinol/ Tretinoin. These help soften hyperpigmentation by increasing cellular turnover so you can have healthy new skin cells regularly. Use this 2-3x per week so you get the benefits without irritating the skin. Skincare is all about consistency so find your favorite products and stick to the routine, and watch your skin glow from the inside out! 😉 Thank you for sharing the video . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

If you need to glow up overnight! As someone with oily acne-prone skin I can’t use heavy products so I always reach for lighter gentle products. ✨ ✅ Gentle Cleanser- every good skincare routine starts w/ a good cleanser ✅ Bubbling detox mask - this bubble mask will help clear and detoxify your skin without drying your skin. Leave it on for 5-10 mins and wash off the excess. .usa ✅ Light moisturizer - use a moisturizer w/ ceramide to restore the skin barrier without clogging the pores. I like ✅ Eye cream - don’t forget to moisturize your eye area w/ an eye cream to soften the fine lines. Don’t forget the upper eyelid ✅ Vaseline - vaseline is the best for the lips! Skincare recommendations for sebaceous filaments! As the weather gets warmer and we accumulate more oil, our nose will feel greasier and this is how to keep your skin feeling fresh✨ AM: ✅ Gentle Cleanser - use a gentle cleanser in the morning to lightly cleanse your skin ✅ Salicylic acid serum - a light gentle salicylic acid (1.5%-2%) can help clear your pores and prevent sebum from accumulating PM: ✅ Cleanser w/ BP - a gentle cleanser w/ 5% benzoyl peroxide can help regulate oil production ✅ Vitamin A - use a vitamin A derivate you can tolerate (adapalene, retinol. tretinoin, retinal or tazarotene) 3x per week to reduce oil production. Little goes a long way Skincare is all about consistency! 😉 🎥 VC: Mahmoud Gamal (tiktok) thank you for sharing the video!

Beauty Getaway: Is Going to Korea for Cosmetic Treatments Worth It? This week on Mirror Mirror, I’m sitting down with Dr. David Kim to unpack the rise of traveling to Korea for cosmetic treatments and what’s actually worth it. We talk about the treatments you can only access there, like Rejuran, and why innovation abroad is pulling so many people in. But we also go deeper into what often gets overlooked: safety, regulation, and who’s actually performing these procedures. From understanding why certain treatments are years ahead overseas, to the real risks of high-impact procedures without the right medical team, this conversation is about making informed decisions, not just aspirational ones. Watch now and let me know what you think. Please rate, review, and follow or subscribe to Mirror Mirror with Amy Chang wherever you get your podcasts.

You can get an infection of the midface by picking your nose, pulling nose hair, and popping a pimple in the nose. Although rare this can lead to a serious condition including cavernous sinus thrombosis and meningitis. If you get a pimple in this area leave it alone and let it heal on its own before it turns into a bigger problem! 🎥 VC: StephanieCH (Tiktok)
