Small tweaks, BIG impact

This patient had a missing lateral incisor on the right side and a small lateral on the left. Here’s what we did:
• to idealize tooth positions and spacing
•whitening
•a resin-bonded bridge to replace the right lateral incisor
•a veneer with some gum recontouring using our laser

Smile makeovers don’t necessarily need to be ultra-invasive. Each of these interventions is conservative, but give a serious glow up when combined 💫

Rarely do events (at least in my mind) live up to the expectation, but somehow the always seems to deliver.

From the outside, it looks easy. You show up, you experience an amazing 2 day meeting, and then you go back to normal life. But behind the scenes is a massive team of people working tirelessly the other 363 days of the year, making sure that everything runs smoothly and no detail is overlooked.

I’m proud to call myself a member of this team and humbled to now serve on its council. Plans for 2026 are already in motion!

Occasionally, teeth don’t develop the way they’re supposed to. As an adult, we know where teeth are supposed to end up, but when we’re treating a young teenager we have to think a little differently.

For this patient we placed “temporary” restorations to restore form and function while only removing as much tooth structure as was necessary. The goal is to replace these when he’s done growing. But for now, he can smile with confidence.

This patient is 100 (!!!) years old. She’s sharp as a tack, lives independently and wanted to be able to eat all her favorite foods. She had some old implants on the lower arch that weren’t in the most ideal positions, and so her last few attempts at dentures with other providers didn’t go so well… but with some creative planning with , we made this upper complete denture and lower bar overdenture that the patient is thrilled with.

I’ve been working towards receiving this email for nearly 10 years. I’m proud of this accomplishment and eternally grateful to those who have supported me unconditionally, pushed me when I needed to be pushed and lifted me up when I felt like I just couldn’t do it. After these restorations were inserted, the patient said that she would be able to smile with confidence for the first time in her life 🥹

This is my “why.”

Preliminary ortho by . Excellent communication made this case go super smoothly. The patient didn’t have enough space for implants, so we opted for cantilevered restorations to replace her missing canines and some bonding on the upper front teeth to even everything out!
