Seasonal support herbal infusion that helps with colds and flu, sore throat, strep throat, sinus infections and more.

3 tea bags of peppermint (I used traditional medicinals)
4 Tbsp of dried hibiscus flowers
4 Tbsp of rose hips
4 cups of hot water
Infuse for at least one hour and drink 2 cups per day. Adding raw honey increases medicinal properties of the herbs.

Properly ripe bananas have brown spots/dots and are easy to peel.
When bananas have no spots, hard to peel (or have some spots but still are hard to peel) they are unripe. People who say they cannot eat bananas because bananas give them digestive discomfort or constipation, in majorly of cases are eating unripe bananas. When the skin of a banana turns brown or black and the banana inside is mushy, the fruit is overripe and can ferment in the digestive tract causing discomfort. So if fermented banana is not so good for the digestion, what about fermented foods like yoghurt, kimchi, sauerkraut, kombucha etc? Would you like to know?

My favorite smoothie right now. beautiful color and great taste!

3 ripe bananas
1 cup of organic frozen strawberries
1 pack of frozen red dragon fruit
Blend with 1/2 cup of coconut water or water.

Do you know what is considered a ripe banana?
And why exactly is properly ripe banana important?

I am focusing on grounding, supporting my adrenals and nervous system in addition to my immune system by adding root vegetables and more leafy greens. Sweet potato, yams, squashes, and potatoes are helpful to our nervous systems and adrenals as they provide grounding energy and minerals. The root vegetables are also helpful for the "nervous stomachs". Leafy greens are wonderful for lungs, immunity and adrenals. Please check the photos for more ideas how to incorporate these foods.

It can get really tense. Emotions and energies are running high. Even if we don’t panic we can still feel the intensity out there. I know I do.
Here is what I did last night to support our nervous system. I used one tea bag of each herb in nearly boiling water. Steeped for 1 hour and drank with raw honey and lemon for better bioavailability. Combination of skullcap and lemon balm is my all time favorite in terms of the effect and taste.

The top supplement in the current situation is liquid ionic zinc sulfate. Other important supplements for prevention are higher doses of vitamin C from both foods and supplements, elderberry and lemon balm. Cleaning the diet to remove eggs, dairy, gluten, corn, pork, natural flavors are important too as these foods will feed pathogens like viruses and bacteria if a person gets the infection.

It’s hard for any virus to survive in a well hydrated body and alkaline environment. We must hydrate really well daily and eat predominantly fruits and vegetables to keep body alkaline.
Some of my daily hydration: 2 liters of filtered water with lots of ginger, juice of 2 lemons, 1 tbsp of honey and some maple syrup. I finish this water by dinner time. 1 liter of thyme and mint tea. I drink half of it a day with honey and lemon for better bioavailability. Alkaline, hydrating breakfast of Bananas, spinach, mango, frozen berries, tangelo, raspberries, dates and filtered water. I usually sip this smoothie till lunch.
