Front Desk Associate:
Our front desk associates are the face of our wellness practice. They should always have their best foot forward, upholding a professional and knowledgeable image of the practice. They are responsible for supporting patient care, performing clinical tasks and fulfilling administrative duties to maintain a seamless practice.

Required Skills:
● Excellent customer service attitude, ability to communicate with all in a welcoming,
courteous, respectful manner
● Strong computer skills, well versed on Mac and PC; working knowledge of scheduling
applications, web based applications for office efficiency
● Outstanding communications skills
● Demonstrates the spirit of going above and beyond, carries out job thoroughly and resolves issues completely and professionally
● Proven ability to input data effectively and correctly
● Knowledge of HIPAA compliancy with the ability to handle patient records in accordance to guidelines and provide basic counsel to patients
● General bookkeeping knowledge

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

PATIENT CARE COORDINATION
- Welcome all guests and maintain a quiet and professional waiting area
- Check­in patients and make sure they are ready to receive treatment
- Ensures that all clients/patients receiving treatment have completed required
consent and treatment forms
- Offers patients targeted appointments based on preference and availability

CLINICAL SUPPORT
- Organize treatment supplies, instruments and equipment per treatment room
- Treatment room set­up based on services scheduled for that day
- Maintain clean and hazard free waiting area, treatment rooms, and the overall
office

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
- Responds to and manages all correspondence, via phone, walk­-ins, email, chat
etc.
- Fulfill bookkeeping and billing activities
- Supply replenishment; verify stock, receive inventory
-Maintain operating reports including therapists logs, daily status reports,
insurance submissions log
- Maintain immaculate facilities ­­ reception, treatment rooms, lavatories

Minimal Educational and Skill Requirements:
High School Diploma or a General Equivalency diploma with an intrinsic interest in the wellness and complementary medicine.

Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.

Introducing our newest practitioner, Deena Gothelf. Deena is a Yoga and Meditation guide and Reiki healer. Her mission is to support clients through challenging life transitions, with focal points of embracing change and cultivating extraordinary awareness. The healing modalities she is trained in help clients to develop the inner resources necessary to both cultivate calm and take empowered action when life calls for it. Healing modalities include: yoga, meditation, reiki, ritual guidance and support.

Cornerstone Healing is excited to introduce our community to one of our new practitioner.

Deena Gothelf is a Yoga and Meditation guide and Reiki healer. Her mission is to support clients through challenging life transitions, with focal points of embracing change and cultivating extraordinary awareness. The healing modalities she is trained in help clients to develop the inner resources necessary to both cultivate calm and take empowered action when life calls for it. Healing modalities include: yoga, meditation, reiki, ritual guidance and support.

Deena began her wellness journey in 2015 after completing her first 200 hour Registered Yoga Training with Wanderlust Yoga (Austin, TX) and Kula Yoga (NYC). Since then she’s completed multiple yoga and meditation training sessions with The Nalanda Institute, The WOOM Center, The Prenatal Yoga Center, and more.

In 2016, Deena discovered the healing modality of Reiki and began her studies with Michal Spiegelman. Rei (Universal) / Ki (Life Energy) - Reiki is a Japanese healing technique to promote stress reduction, relaxation and healing in the body. Reiki relaxes the nervous system so the body can restore it's natural energies. A healer’s role is to allow the universal life energy to travel through them to you, where the energy is needed.
