Expectant parents, we'd love for you to join us for our free, virtual MEET THE DOULAS event Tues 3/31 @ 6:30 pm on Zoom to meet some birth and postpartum doulas who are available to provide compassionate, expert support & advocacy for you to experience the happiest, healthiest rite of passage through birth & postpartum!

After you RSVP, we'll send you a complete list of the doulas available for your due month along with their profiles and rates, and an informational video (which is also on our homepage) that will answer a lot of your Qs.

For the event, you'll be assigned to meet for a few minutes with one or more doulas who are available for your due time in breakout rooms, speed-dating style.

Even if you've never heard of doulas and would just like to learn more, you're welcome to come for an informational interview/Q&A! (We'll give you a few ideas of things you could ask if you don't know where to start.)

Or if you're sold on the benefits of doula support but partner isn't just yet (common!), join us here (and/or in birth class) and it'll convince them you've had a brilliant idea. 😉

RSVP at eastriverdoulas.nyc or DM us with questions.

PS You can also reach out to us anytime for 1:1 help exploring your options, if you prefer.

If you're expecting a baby OR you're trying to figure out the perfect gift for a loved one who's expecting a baby (or even hopes to be in the near future), we have 2 great ideas and a discount for you!

1) THE BIRTH MATTERS COMPLETE COURSE - The course is ~15 hrs of comprehensive childbirth education broken down into short video lessons and includes thorough prep for labor/birth, postpartum wellness, newborn care and feeding. All you need to build your confidence and give you -- and your labor support partner, if applicable -- lots of practical, actionable tips for the journey into parenthood!

2) The same all-in-one curriculum, but live & interactive on Zoom. Participants can choose the series that works for their schedule -- see schedule/registration page on our website at birthmatters.com/schedule-registration

From now until 1/1/26, you can get $30 off this course using code BIRTHJOY30; for the online course, it’s open-ended access so that the course owner can use it as a refresher / for review at any time.

You should be able to use your FSA/HSA funds to reimburse yourself for at least the birth portion (2/3) of this course (as long as it's for you and not someone else, of course)...win-win! We are happy to provide the needed documentation.

Note: discount applies to the on-demand course and when paying in the single payment option only.
Wishing you meaningful, mindful preparation for this huge rite of passage of becoming a parent. DM us if you have any Qs!
