A brow lift can improve drooping around the eyes, but it depends on the cause.

If fullness or excess skin is related to a low brow position, lifting the brow can reduce the heaviness. When the issue is true eyelid skin excess, an eyelid procedure or a combined treatment may be needed for the best result.

What I love most about this work is the balance between science and artistry. It takes precision, patience, and restraint to create something that feels completely natural.

I love the quiet focus of surgery, the moment when everything narrows down to the smallest detail. I love seeing structure and symmetry come together, knowing that what I’m creating isn’t about change but restoration.

I love the moment a patient sees themselves again and feels at peace with what they see. That confidence, that sense of ease, is why I do this work.

Determining whether a patient needs a brow lift, an eyelid lift, or both starts with identifying the source of heaviness.

By measuring the upper eyelid skin before and after gently elevating the brow, we can see how much fullness comes from brow descent versus true eyelid laxity.

If lifting the brow restores openness, a brow lift may be enough. If extra skin remains even once the brow is elevated, an eyelid lift can refine the result further.

For many patients, combining both procedures achieves the most natural, harmonious outcome.

Filler doesn’t rule out a facelift.

The key is understanding how much filler there is and how it’s affecting facial shape. In some cases, dissolving it first helps achieve a more precise, natural result, but it’s not always required.

Many patients worry about what a facelift scar will look like up close. When the procedure is done correctly, it should be barely visible.

The incision is placed along natural contours around the ear and into the hairline so it blends with the skin’s natural folds. Careful placement, tension-free closure, and precise technique allow the scar to heal as a fine line rather than a visible mark.

When the lift is created beneath the skin, the surface can rest naturally without pulling. The result is a smooth, natural appearance.

GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro can lead to rapid weight loss.

The faster weight comes off, the harder it is for skin to adapt. Skin that has been stretched for years may not contract back to its original state.

This is why patients may notice laxity in the face and neck, abdomen, or other body parts. It is not a complication of the medication. It is the natural limit of skin elasticity.

Once weight has stabilized, procedures such as a facelift, neck lift, or body contouring can address residual laxity and restore a more refined contour.

Every result begins with an understanding of anatomy.

Implant selection, pocket creation, and incision placement are based on detailed measurements of the chest and soft tissue.

The objective is to restore or enhance volume while preserving normal movement and proportion. These details determine how natural the outcome looks and feels.

In my practice silicone implants are never an option. They carry risks of infection and extrusion through the thin skin of the nose, both of which are difficult problems to fix.

Aesthetically, they also fall short. The perfectly molded shape may sound appealing, but it often looks unnatural. Cartilage is natural tissue that adapts to the body and creates results that last.

Almost a decade ago, I had the privilege of training directly under Dr. Sydney Coleman, the pioneer of fat grafting. His work set the foundation for how we approach this procedure today.

The Coleman Technique focuses on carefully harvesting and transferring fat in the most careful and precise way possible, ensuring better survival of the grafted cells and, ultimately, better results for patients. It’s a meticulous process, but one that I continue to honor in my practice.

Fat transfer to the breasts using the Coleman technique is a detailed process designed to maximize the survival of the fat once it’s been moved. The first step is harvesting fat from another area of the body, such as the stomach or thighs. This is done with minimal suction force to reduce the risk of damaging fat cells, a method developed by Dr. Sydney Coleman and refined through direct training with him. Dr. Cangello is one of only two surgeons in the world to have been personally trained by Dr. Coleman.

The fat is then processed and injected into the breasts in very small droplets. If too much fat is injected at once, the center of the graft may not get enough blood flow and won’t survive. By layering the fat carefully, the transferred cells have a much greater chance of lasting long-term. This technique takes more time and precision, but it results in the best chance for fat survival which maximizes augmentation volume.
