November is National Adoption Awareness Month. I was adopted at 10 months old into a loving family that provided me an amazing life. I was one of the fortunate ones.

But many children are not as fortunate. Spending their childhood being shuffled around from one home to another, often aging out of the system at 18 years old.

Currently in the U.S. there are over 400,000 children in foster care awaiting the day they become part of a loving family.
