The Joyful Joy Foundation (JJF) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to support community empowerment amongst people living in distressed communities of Africa. The foundation exists to generate social and economic benefits in selected communities by offering programs focused on ending hunger, preventable disease and providing economic development opportunities. To raise the standard of living, our alleviation strategy seeks to address the following three key factors. Goal 1:
Eliminating malaria by providing medical intervention, training, support and awareness campaigns. Goal 2:
Making safe water & food more accessible to people in need. Goal 3:
Commitment to delivering sound financial and social services to alleviate poverty and support sustainable economic growth. Efforts are carried out to support the push for a malaria-free Africa!

On September 20th, 2025 conducted our monthly at 26 Elegbata Street Lagos Island Apongbon South Eastern Olowogbowo Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

The Joyful Joy Foundation (JJF) sensitizers and mobilizes pregnant women, nursing mothers, children, and men to come out for health education about practices that promote health and well-being, prevent malaria, malaria screening tests, blood pressure, glucose checks, health consultation, and free drugs.

Those who tested positive were given malaria drugs (ACTs) and Treated mosquito nets were given to community members. Additionally, those with other health conditions were given treatment during the outreach and proper referral to a health facility to ensure continuity of care.

At the end of the event, a total number of 102 persons were attended to ( 34 men / 59 Women / 9 children). 39 people tested positive for malaria.

We will continue to β€˜Push towards a Malaria Free Africa.’ Big Thanks to the JJF team that have always volunteered their time to make a difference. We aim to one community at a time.

On *20/09/2025* conducted our monthly at 26, Elegbata Street, Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

The Joyful Joy Foundation (JJF) sensitizers and mobilizes pregnant women, nursing mothers, children, and men to come out for health education about practices that promote health and well-being, prevent malaria, malaria screening tests, blood pressure, glucose checks, health consultation, and free drugs.

Those who tested positive were given malaria drugs (ACTs) and Treated mosquito nets were given to community members. Additionally, those with other health conditions were given treatment during the outreach and proper referral to a health facility to ensure continuity of care.

At the end of the event, a total number of 125 persons were attended to ( 28 men / 67 Women / 30 children). 30 people tested positive for Malaria.

On July 26th, 2025 conducted our monthly at APAPA ELEMU COMMUNITY HALL 5,ONAKOYA CLOSE SARI-IGANMU LAGOS

The Joyful Joy Foundation (JJF) sensitizers and mobilizes pregnant women, nursing mothers, children and men to come out for health education about practices that promote health and well-being, prevent malaria, malaria screening tests, blood pressure, glucose checks, health consultation, and free drug medication.

Those who tested positive were given malaria drugs (ACTs) and Treated mosquito nets were given to community members. Additionally, those with other health conditions were given treatment during the outreach and proper referral to a health facility to ensure continuity of care.

At the end of the outreach, a total number of 159 persons were attended to (49 men /86 Women / 24 children). 44 people tested positive for malaria.

World Malaria day is celebrated on 25 April every year and it is the right opportunity to spread awareness about the signs and symptoms of Malaria. Here are ten signs and symptoms of Malaria one should be careful about.

Malaria is a very serious disease that kills up to 2.7 million persons every year and the majority of the cases are in children under the age of five years. This disease is caused by parasites transmitted through the bite of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes.

It is very crucial to identify the signs and symptoms of malaria for proper diagnosis and treatment. The severity and combination of symptoms can vary depending on certain factors like the type of malaria parasite, individual’s immune response, and underlying health conditions.
