Non-Surgical Removal of Lipomas

Lipomas are benign, fatty tumors that can be found anywhere in the skin. They’re particularly common in the forehead area, causing disfiguring protrusions. Most doctors only offer a surgical solution to removing lipomas, which is a surgical excision. I’ve pioneered a new technique for the non-surgical removal of lipomas. I perform more CO2 laser resurfacing than any other physician in the country. The CO2 laser still remains the king of all lasers when it comes to skin tightening and wrinkle reduction. Pay close attention to this patient’s post-op photos taken three months later, which show dramatic improvement in the wrinkling of her frown lines as well as around the eyes. Surgical lip lifts have become increasingly
popular in the past few years, especially amongst young women. This procedure is meant to shorten the distance between the nose and the upper lip, as well as evert the lip. Mole Removal on Upper Lip

There are three main ways that moles can be removed. The first and most common method is a shave removal, where a mole is flattened with a surgical blade. The second way is a surgical excision, where a mole is removed from the roots with stitches. The third way is with pigment lasers, mainly used for beauty marks. In this instance, we performed a shave removal of a mole of the upper lip of a young lady. The picture was taken immediately after the procedure.

Mohs Surgery for Skin Cancer

It is estimated that 1 in every 5 Americans will develop skin cancer at some point in life. In this instance, this was obviously a very large skin cancer in a sensitive area that had grown for a couple of years without being paid attention. We removed this cancer through Mohs micrographic surgery, which allows for instant margin examination, leading to cure rates of up to 99%. I then performed a flap reconstruction. The last photo shows the final outcome at 3 months postop, which, by all standards, is a home run.
