I’m learning, slowly but surely, to focus on the sweet and simple moments of each day:
☀️the warmth of the sun
🛋️a perfect work space
🤗hugs from my loved ones
📚a book I’m curling up with.

When my worries try to consume me (on the state of the world, the responsibilities I feel, the pain of old sad relationships), I come back to these simple, sweet things. It really helps. 🌾

As spring is trying to peak through, let the extra light remind you of the light that lives in you, a sweet simple light…. And let that light shine through. ✨

What are women’s bodies still holding? 🫢

So many women move through the world trained to read the room, anticipate needs, care for others, and manage emotional environments. Over time, something happens…we lose connection with what our own bodies are asking for. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Grief. Anger. Fear. Longing. Exhaustion.

When emotions don’t have a safe place to move, they don’t disappear. They stay in the body.

This week on Substack Live, I’m joined by my friend , sound healer and sacred business mentor, to explore what happens when women finally begin to listen to their bodies again. 🌾

We’ll talk about:
• why calm can feel so hard to access
• the emotional buildup many women carry
• how the nervous system holds onto unprocessed experience
• and what it means to come home to your own center

Women are often conditioned to care for everyone else before caring for themselves. 😅

In this conversation from the Regulate series, , sound healer and sacred business mentor, shares insights on nervous system regulation, emotional patterns women carry in the body, and how sound healing can help us reconnect with our center. 🍃

Because calm isn’t something we force.🌾

It’s something we learn to return to. 🙏🏼

Who are you if you’re not needed? 👀
So many women are socialized to scan the room.
To anticipate.
To regulate.
To hold it all together.

But what happens when we stop managing everyone else’s emotions?🤯
When we stop being the emotional infrastructure of the room?😏

This week on Substack LIVE, Randi and Lia sit down to unpack why women struggle to relax, how hypervigilance becomes identity, and what surfaces when we allow ourselves to not be needed.✨

It may bring up grief.
It may bring up hunger.
It may bring up freedom.

So many women are conditioned to do — to hold it all, fix it all, anticipate everyone’s needs before their own. 👀

But what does that constant caretaking do to the nervous system?🤯

In Lia’s Regulate interview on the In the Margins Substack, we explore how living in chronic “doing mode” keeps women overextended and disconnected from their bodies. 🥹

This conversation invites you to soften, to notice, and to remember that your worth isn’t measured by how much you carry.💓

If you’re tired of always being the strong one… this interview is for you!

“My therapist gave me one of the biggest compliments I could ever ask for at the end of the year, and I think at its crux, it’s why I continue to love me, even in the face of the periodic bad or ugly. 👀

“You’ve met life on life’s terms, each and every day,” she said. “This is the warrior’s path.” ✨

I’m not sure if several years ago I would’ve understood how much of an accomplishment it is to “meet life on life’s terms,” but now I do. ☀️
