This cute little guy has 2 teeth! I was there for a lactation visit. It's the first time I've seen in person a baby with teeth. It is called natal teeth and he was born with them. The parents said the doctors shouted out he has 2 teeth and all the nurses and residents were very excited to meet this special boy. About 1 in every 2000-3000 infants are born with teeth, usually the lower front gumline.
Turns out his dad was also born with 2 teeth.
It was a pleasure helping this beautiful family with breastfeeding. Mom and baby did a great job!

Sidelying is a wonderful way to get into the hips, glutes and lower back. With the use of cushions it's very comfortable. Great for those in pain from side sleeping, sciatica and so much more.

Yesterday was IBCLC Day! I didn't have time to post as I was busy helping moms.

I became an IBCLC- International Board Certified Lactation Consultant after having trouble breastfeeding my daughter. It was a natural progression in my practice and was so important for me to teach moms that things are possible, they can be hard but possible with help, practice and perseverance.
I absolutely love working with new moms and babies, it's an absolute honor to have gotten to know and be a part of this beautiful journey.
I love supporting what it is you choose to do, and help guide you, whether it be exclusive breastfeeding, exclusive breast milk and combo feeding.
