Today we joined to launch their Care Not Corruption campaign, calling for the elimination of private insurance middlemen in home care and reinvesting the money now wasted on their corporate profits into home care wages & care, fair pay for home care workers, ending the PPL monopoly & restoring CDPAP & making the rich pay their fair share.
As we build towards passing the NY Health Act to provide fully comprehensive, publicly funded, universal healthcare - including Long Term Care - for all New Yorkers, we urge Gov Hochul & the NY legislature to pass each of these bills to provide immediate relief for disabled people, home care workers, seniors and caregivers.

Food, homes & healthcare for ALL NOW! Stop settling for crumbs from corporations, the ultra rich & the corrupt politicians on their payroll.

Congressional cuts to SNAP, Medicaid, Medicare, housing & ACA subsidies made to fund ICE & tax breaks for the wealthy will cause wide scale suffering, hunger, homelessness, preventable illness, deaths & hospital closures, bringing our healthcare infrastructure & society to the brink of collapse - and we have yet to see a plan from our NY lawmakers to address it, or even any sense of urgency from leadership in New York.

There are real solutions - the New York Health Act will provide comprehensive free-at-delivery universal healthcare for EVERY New Yorker regardless of age, income, disability or immigration status, and will SAVE the state billions of dollars by cutting out corporate profits & administrative waste. Yet NY leaders
continue to leave those billions on the floor & let New Yorkers continue to suffer & die without the care we need.

We demand universal public food, housing & healthcare programs NOW to protect New Yorkers & provide these essential needs as a human right for all, without exception. Fully fund our public safely net services & make the rich pay their fair share!

We will rally on the Broadway side of Trump International Hotel by Columbus Circle, and then march via Broadway, across 57th Street, and down 3rd Ave to rally at the NYC office of Governor Kathy Hochul @ the corner of 3rd Ave & 56th Street.

We condemn the federal administration for its draconian and inhumane cuts to SNAP, healthcare, and permanent housing.

We demand that New York leaders take action in this critical moment with bold plans to counter the federal attacks on our Safety Net. Governor Hochul, the NYS legislature, and NYC Mayor-Elect Mamdani must ensure that ALL NEW YORKERS have UNIVERSAL healthy food, housing, and healthcare - including passing the NY Health Act.
