Emma starting this year strong! Won her first Met PGA Future Series with a 6 under two day total, and came in 2nd in NY State High School Championships as a sophomore!

Are you sure you want to be a doctor?

Of all the cool pics/videos I’ve gotten of Kaitlyn, the thing I’m most proud of I never got the video because at the time what she was doing was just so natural for her. It occurred right after the attached video - on the 2nd to last hole of her collegiate golf career, Kaitlyn had just missed a very makeable birdie putt, and then a big gust of wind blew over one of her competitors golf bags you see in the video and spilled a bunch of things on the grass next to the green. Instead of fuming about her missed putt or worrying about making her comeback putt, Kaitlyn went over to help her competitor pick up her bag up and clean up the mess. I didn’t think much of it until my friend who knows Kaitlyn well whispered to me, “and those few seconds we just watched sums up your daughter Kaitlyn”. I asked Kaitlyn many times if she was sure she wanted to be a doctor bc it’s a really long hard road and it’s not what it used to be. The only real prerequisite to being a good doctor is a true willingness to want to help other people. I can’t wait to see what kind of doctor Kaitlyn will be.
