“My primary focus is ensuring that each Elderplan/HomeFirst member receives the medical, nursing and social work services they are entitled to,” she says. To help do this, Christine closely monitors our service delivery processes to ensure they are as efficient and effective as possible—from reducing member wait times to streamlining processes.
“By actively listening to members' needs and helping them navigate their coverage, the entire team is well-positioned to care for, support and guide Elderplan/HomeFirst members on the best way to address their challenges,” she says.
To help ensure her team of care managers (nurses) have access to the latest information about member coverage and services, Christine gives them time for training, so her nurses provide accurate assistance as quickly as possible. “I’m proud that the support and direction I provide to care managers helps enhance the overall member experience.”
