Our belief is that the world benefits from families who feel supported, loved and cared for during their birth and postpartum journey.

A birth is more than a life entering this world. It is the birth of a family. It is the beginning of the foundation from which this family will forever come from. We believe that your birth, how you feel, and what happens before, during and after matters. There are many ways to a healthy mother and baby and ours is a path of building confidence and instilling peace.

We recommend asking if your employer offers supplementary fertility benefits to reimburse for doula services and to add a doula fund to your registry. We have doulas of all tiers and some offer sliding scale!

Our Story

Back in 2011, we met after joining a doula service and supported one another as emergency backups while we formed our own practices. After many years working with families alone, we decided to join forces in the summer of 2015 and created this beloved partnership. We felt that together we would be able to better assist our families by combining our experiences, resources and approach to address the unexpected challenges that arise and to share in the beautiful memories as well. We feel blessed to have found a trusted and complimentary partner in each other and our families think so too!

Since then we are proud to announce we have formed an agency featuring doulas with our same hands-on, warm and evidence based approach to accommodate more families. By being part of the NYC Birth Village family, through collaboration and support our doulas are also able to draw upon the experiences of us having supported hundreds of families.
