Hi followers, a reminder- The Psychotherapy Supervision group, in existence for 7 years, meets this Tuesday May 7 from 7 to 8:30 and every other Wed. The cost is $50 per meeting. It is based on psychodynamic psychotherapy which a large study found to be more effective and having more lasting results than other therapies. The group is led by Dr. Mark Sehl, LCSW and NYS licensed psychoanalyst.

Hi followers, does anyone remember being in an office right across from where the world trade center once existed and talking with me about their experience? A business contacted me asking if I could talk to their employees since they witnessed that event. I met with them and one common feeling was guilt (of course not rational). Many employees asked to meet with me following the general meeting which I did. That was great that the business owners could offer them that opportunity. On that day when the towers were hit, two employees flipped a coin and the employee who lost the coin toss was the person who ended up going and died. Many of the stories that reminded them of past losses in their lives which often happens.
