This patient is 2 months out from an upper blepharoplasty to address one of the most common eye concerns I see, hooding of the upper eyelids.
She came in feeling like her eyes were starting to look tired and wanted a subtle refresh. The goal was not to change her look, but to restore a more open version of her natural eye shape. Her lash line and overall eye structure were left unchanged so she still looks completely like herself.
Upper blepharoplasty is a relatively straightforward procedure, taking about 30 minutes per side. Many patients are candidates to have it done awake with local anesthesia, while others may require deeper sedation.
Small incisions are hidden in the natural fold where the eyelids crease. Most patients are back to work within about a week and can begin gentle exercise after about two weeks.
If you are interested in an upper blepharoplasty, please feel free to reach out.
