One of the most common reasons why clients later say
“laser doesn’t work” — is incorrect intervals between sessions.
A lot of people focus on how much the hair has grown back.
But laser doesn’t work on the principle of “the more it grows, the better.”
It works based on hair growth cycles.
Not all hairs grow at the same time.
And the effectiveness of each session depends on hitting the right timing — when the next active growth phase appears.
That’s why your technician isn’t just “booking a convenient date.”
They are building a system that ensures real results.
Typically, for body areas at the beginning of the course, the most effective interval is about every 6 weeks for the first 5–6 sessions.
For the face — it’s more frequent, around every 4 weeks, and the overall course is usually longer.
After that, everything depends on:
• the area being treated
• your body’s response
• hormonal factors
• and your individual hair growth pattern
That’s exactly why changing your intervals on your own is a bad idea.
Laser is a system.
And results require consistency.
Save this post if you also thought you needed to wait until the hair “fully grows back.”
