Sharing this again for all who may wish to learn more and/or contribute. Please consider donating or sharing! I will be on this trip to participate in Doula Rest and Restoration as well as learn about some of the native Birthwork practices and will be playing Mas in St. Lucia Carnival! Makeda is a Certified Doula providing birth and postpartum support to women in the Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan area. Supporting women in their birthing choices is her passion while providing a warm, loving, environment for your birth is her goal, and whether you birth in a hospital, birthing center or at home you can benefit from having Doula support! Makeda also teaches Newborn Care classes under the Healthy Start Brooklyn umbrella of services and any birthing person is welcome free of charge.
