Surprise. I have a whole other business for my ADHD folks who need the practical systems side. Your Brain's Bestie is my ADHD coaching practice.

It's for when you know what you should do but your brain won't cooperate. We do strategy sessions, body doubling, accountability. All the things that help ADHD brains actually get stuff done.

Conflict is normal. Honestly, conflict can be healthy. What's not healthy is the way most of us were taught to handle it, which is to say we weren't taught at all.

Say it again for the people in the back. You are not responsible for managing other people's emotions when you set a boundary.

If they're upset, that's theirs to deal with, not yours to fix.

Boundaries aren't mean. Boundaries aren't selfish. Boundaries ARE necessary.

Save this for the next time someone makes you feel guilty for having needs or send this to someone you know who needs to hear this.

No clinical office vibes here. Just plants, good lighting, and a therapist who actually gets it.

And probably way too much tea. (jk there could never be too much tea). We're here for it and we love it (and we're here to listen and help you through all of it).

This is what therapy looks like at DTC. It's mental health care, made human. It's a place to ditch the couch and actually heal.

Here's the thing: C-PTSD or Complex PTSD is different from PTSD, and understanding the difference can actually be really validating.
