I’m a pediatrician and parent advocate with expertise in NYC and Westchester schools, and I help families navigate the sometimes confusing—and often overwhelming—world of IEPs, 504 plans, and school services. Over the years, I’ve attended hundreds of IEP meetings alongside families, working to make sure children with learning and developmental challenges get the right evaluations, services, and accommodations. With my background as both a physician (MD, MPH) and a long-time advocate, I bring a unique perspective: I understand children’s needs medically and know how to get schools to meet them.
