Black history month Faces edition: Garrett Morgan: from Claysville, Kentucky he was an inventor and businessman who is best known for inventing a device called the Morgan Safety Hood and Smoke Protector in 1914. The invention was later dubbed the gas mask.

*Shape Up NYC - Hypertension 101 (Feb 4, 2026): Virtual 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM webinar focused on blood pressure management.

*In-Person Hypertension 101 (Feb 10, 2026): 12–2 PM at Bedford Health Center, 485 Throop Ave, Brooklyn.
