🌱 Call for Mentees | Masters Mentorship Network 2026

Are you preparing to apply for a Master’s degree in Psychology and looking for structured guidance from someone who understands the process from the inside out?

The Masters Mentorship Network is now open to applications from motivated psychology students who are seeking mentorship from qualified psychologists. This network is designed to support students navigating the academic, professional, and personal demands of Master’s applications in a highly competitive field.

Who this is for:

🔹 Final-year Honours students, or Psychology Honours Graduates
🔹 Applicants preparing for Master’s selections in Psychology

Application process:

Applicants are required to complete an application form and pay a once-off administration fee to allow for application processing and mentor–mentee matching. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the network.

Applications now open:

Spaces are limited to ensure meaningful and ethical mentorship. Applications close on the 22nd of February 2026. No late or incomplete applications will be accepted.

🌱 Call for Mentors | Masters Mentorship Network 2026

We’re excited to officially open our Call for Mentors for the 2026 Masters Mentorship Network.

This initiative is designed to support master’s hopefuls as they navigate the demanding and often reflective journey toward professional psychology training. As a mentor, your insight, experience, and presence can make a meaningful difference in how a student understands both the process and themselves within it.

📅 Important Dates
🟢 Applications Open: NOW
🔴 Applications Close: 28 February 2026

👥 Mentor Requirements
To be considered as a mentor, you must:
🟢 Be registered with the HPCSA as a Psychologist (any category), or be in the process of registering (student, intern, comm serv, or independent)
🟢 Have sufficient time and capacity to meaningfully engage with a mentee
🟢 Be willing to offer guidance, insight, and reflective support to a master’s hopeful navigating the professional training pathway

If you meet these requirements and would like to contribute to the development of the next generation of psychologists, we’d love to hear from you.

This programme was created to support students who are preparing to apply for professional psychology master’s programmes in South Africa, by connecting them with psychology professionals who can offer guidance, insight, and support through what can be a demanding and often overwhelming process.

The Masters Mentorship Network is for master’s hopefuls who are seeking clarity, structure, and reflective support as they navigate applications, selections, and the development of their emerging professional identities. It is also for psychologists who are willing to give back to the field by mentoring the next generation and helping to shape the future of psychology in South Africa.

Dylan is expanding his practice and has added a new venue in Bryanston, Johannesburg, which is now open to new clients seeking therapy and/or psychological assessments.

This practice forms part of Dr Colinda Linde & Associates.
