❄️ As the chilly winter months approach, it's the perfect time to check your adrenaline auto-injectors (AAIs) instructions for storing in cold weather! ❄️

Here are a few tips:

1️⃣ Check the instructions: First and foremost, grab those instructions and read up on storage guidelines.

2️⃣ Keep them close: Always carry two AAIs on you at all times.

3️⃣ Check expiry dates: Adrenaline degrades over time, so make sure you replace your AAIs when they expire.

4️⃣ Inspect for damage: Check your adrenaline auto-injectors regularly to make sure the liquid is clear and colourless. If it seems discoloured or contains particles, replace it.

5️⃣ Insulated bags: Insulated medical bags can help to keep your medication at the right temperature.

Had an amazing day, final day of a three day first aid at work course, we shared some personal stories, and recognised that dealing with first aid incidents can be difficult emotionally, we talk about the impact of being the person holding the fort until the ambulance arrives, it a big thing and we must prepare people for the potential of trauma
