Our residents are our top priority. As we recently experienced Hurricane Helene, our focus is razor sharp on this newest threat, Hurricane Milton.
Our Team is once again prepared and remain fully trained under our Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan.
We are fully covered with generator power in case of an outage and fully fueled. Extra oxygen is on site should the need arise. Team members are coordinated to provide full coverage.
Emergency kits for each department are stocked including flashlights, batteries, food, bottled water, and medical supplies.

Sun Towers is looking for LPN's!
FT Days 6am-6:30pm
We are looking for a reliable LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to care for our residents in a professional and considerate manner. LPN professionals must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm.
Responsibilities
Record a patient’s medical history accurately
Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions

Caregiver Stress, Ways to Avoid Burnout - Are you struggling to balance the responsibility of caring for an aging loved one with the demands of work and other family obligations? Are you looking for ways to get more support for your caregiving duties? Are you aware of options that might help? Are you burnt out and overloaded, and feel that you are neglecting your own health and wellbeing?
This session will help you:
• Identify the signs of poor work-life balance
• Learn tips and strategies to help ease your caregiving duties
• Find out about programs and alternative options available to provide assistance.
