Today's workout was all about the arms and PROGRESSIVE SETS!! Time to get tank top ready for Summer 💪💪💪
So what is a progressive set?!! Doing 6 sets of one exercise and increasing weight while decreasing reps... then using heaviest weight (low reps) going back to lightest weight (high reps)... For example, start with 10lbs and do 15 reps.. go up to 15lbs and do 12 reps.. go up to 20lbs and do 8 reps... then keep your 20 lbs and do another 8 reps.. drop to 15lbs and do 12 reps.. drop to 10lbs and do 15 reps!! Want to feel the burn?!! Give it a try!
Ladies, never be afraid to lift weights!! YOU. WILL. NOT. GET. BULKY. Instead, you will build lean muscle, rev up your metabolism and burn more calories at rest!! I would say that's a WIN WIN!!!

FIT TIP TUESDAY... Constantly Challenge Yourself
If you want to see change, if you want to build your endurance and strength, if you want to break a weight loss plateau, if you want to feel amazing ---> then never stay comfortable!! Push harder than you think you can, try something you think you can't do, try lifting heavier, when you think you are done, do one more!!
Today I thought these burpee diamond jumps were going to kill me 😂😂😂 At first I was thinking to modify but instead I challenged myself to see how many I could do before modifying... next time I will try to do 3 more!! You never know what is possible until you try...

Yesterday I procrastinated... Today I crushed it!! Double day for me! Burned out legs with cardio then burned out shoulders with weights!!

Spring is here and Summer is just around the corner so today's workout was all about the LEGS and BOOTY!!! Revised my workout schedule and have put strength training back into my exercise routine at least 3x a week!!! You have to switch up your workouts because your body gets used to what you are doing!! Have to keep the body guessing!
Tip for the ladies ---> Do not be afraid to lift weights!! Weightlifting will not get you bulky or turn you into a She-Hulk... Instead, you will gain confidence, self-esteem, and a hard, lean body!! Lifting weights has a huge impact on metabolism, muscle and fat loss. The more muscle a woman has, the more calories she will burn at rest. So basically, muscles speed up your metabolism, resulting in more effective fat loss.... and lifting weights regularly can increase your bone density. Those of you in your 20s and 30s don't think about this often, but you will one day.. And won't you be so proud of yourself that you lifted weights and cared for your bone density before you even knew you needed to?!!
So don't be afraid ladies... most women simply do not possess the level of testosterone necessary to support a bulky physique. Iron is your friend!! Happy lifting 😊 If you need help to develop a strength training routine, hit me up!! Always here to help.

You may get discouraged, you will have setbacks. You will eat food that isn't part of the plan.... BUT you are HUMAN!!! There is no easy path to the end result. It is going to be hard but if you trust and believe in the process, have faith in yourself, you will be able to find the willpower to push past the difficult times and learn where you went wrong and how to do better next time. Remember, it is not a race... FIGHT for the results you want... You can do this!! Now go CRUSH your workout 👊👊👊

Ever wonder how I am able to do so many different workouts from home AND get results without stepping foot in a gym??!!!
I have been working out at home for over 5 years now and can you believe that it only costs me about 27 CENTS a day.. That's less than $9 a month!!! A lot of people tell me “they can’t afford it"... it blows my mind that so many want to lose weight and get healthy but feel 27 cents a day is too much to spend on their health?!!

For years I would workout because I hated my body, especially my legs!! I could never wear the skinny jeans all the "petite" girls wore and always had a hard time zipping up long boots because my calves were big... But now I workout to be healthy and strong ---> Healthy is an outfit that looks different on everybody...

Listen up... Do you know how important it is to take care of YOU first?? Life is busy!!!! We give to our kids, our partner, maybe you are a caretaker to elderly parents, we give to our job, our family, our friends... but where is the time YOU take for yourself?!!
Believe me, I have been there.. you can't pour from an empty cup!! In order to be your BEST, you have to do things for yourself and make YOU a priority!! It's not selfish ---> It's smart!!
There will always be a "To Do List" and there is always something else more important but stop and think for a moment... YOU are the most important!! When you are on an airplane they say in an emergency to always put your oxygen mask on first and then your kids?!? Well, it is the same in life... what good are you, if you are not well?!!
